Will the children of Africa benefit from debt-reduction and/or debt-elimination? If so, how?

Q. When LIVE 8 is done and over with, I can assure you that not one

poverty-stricken African will have more food in his/her belly or ever will

as a result. Does anybody think that Zimbawe’s Mugabe will actually freely

distribute the proceeds of new and increased foreign aid? Will the children

of Africa benefit from debt-reduction and/or debt-elimination? If so, how?

It’s a shame that assholes like Geldof and Bono don’t do something more

constructive with their time. LIVE 8 is a sham and anybody who supports it

is in league with Satan.

A. Yes, the money will fund the life of excess and build more palaces for

the corrupt African leaders. But it’s a bit stupid to say the people who

support itare in “league with Satan”. I assume they want to help the

situation, and think donating money is the best way.
